Friendly, Individualized Care That Treats Families Like Family

Finding the right ABA provider is about more than locating an available program. Families want a team that listens carefully, understands their child, communicates openly, and creates treatment around what matters most in everyday life.

At TYAP Katy, children and families are welcomed into a friendly, caring environment where recommendations are individualized rather than predetermined. Our team works to understand each child’s strengths, support needs, learning style, and family priorities before recommending services.

Experienced Clinical Leadership. Personal, Family-Centered Care.

Texas Young Autism Project has served children and families since 2001. TYAP remains independently clinician-owned and operated, allowing clinical judgment and the needs of each child to remain central to treatment planning.

Individualized Recommendations

Treatment intensity, goals, and scheduling are based on clinical assessment and family needs. We do not assume that the same schedule is appropriate for every child.

Exceptional Clinical Depth

TYAP’s clinical leadership includes three doctoral-level behavior analysts. This level of experience supports thoughtful assessment, supervision, treatment planning, and clinical problem-solving.

A Broader Clinical Perspective

TYAP’s leadership also includes a clinician who is both a Speech-Language Pathologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, strengthening collaboration across communication and behavioral needs.

Caregiver Partnership

Caregiver participation and training help families understand treatment goals, support new skills outside the clinic, and communicate about changing priorities.

ABA Services Designed Around Your Child

Our Katy team provides center-based ABA services in several formats. The recommended schedule is determined individually following consultation and assessment.

Full-Day ABA

A structured treatment schedule for young children who may benefit from comprehensive support across communication, social participation, learning readiness, daily living, play, and behavioral flexibility.

Part-Time Daytime ABA

A focused daytime schedule for children whose needs and family routines are best supported through part-time services.

After-School ABA

Targeted services for school-age children who benefit from additional support after the school day. Availability may be more limited than daytime programming.

Social Groups

Small-group opportunities may be available to help appropriate participants practice conversation, cooperation, flexibility, play, and peer interaction.

Caregiver Training

Coaching and collaboration help caregivers use practical strategies and support generalization at home and in the community.

Additional Support Available Through TYAP

Some families benefit from additional assessment or related support. TYAP also offers comprehensive evaluations, autism-informed counseling, feeding-related services, caregiver consultation, and social programming. Availability and appropriateness are determined individually.
